The Molicare range of products which is manufactured by Hartman UK, has always been top of the game when it comes to incontinence products and they certainly fall into the top ten when it comes to nappies.

Like most manufacturers, they have  taken to using the 'cloth-like' textile on the backing of their products, and on their nappy is no different. Although they still manufacture the plastic backed nappy, you can request it through your health provider, you may have to be 'determined' in your request as I found myself!

The nappy I am wearing on the left, is a medium sized, 'super' absorbency nappy with the plastic backed cover.

I don't bother with the cloth backed product for myself, as I have written before, the waist band stretches and the nappy sags down and that heightens the leak risk factor.

The cloth type nappy is equally good at everything, the initial fitting is good, the problem only arises after the pad becomes warmed by body heat and use, but as said before, worn with close fitting underwear or 'net pants', the are as good as the plastic backed product.

Cons

Cloth - textile sags with wear if using the product on its own.

Tapes could be made with stronger adhesive 

Cloth type Could do with a plastic waist band to solve the problem of it coming loose.
