Honest Review of Incontinence Wear Available in Ireland.

There are many different types of incontinence products available on the market in Ireland, but what I noticed is there is a severe lack of information as to where these products are available from, what they are like 'honestly' and also honest reviews of the product.
On each website there is always a review from someone who has bought the product for there aged relative and who say they are fabulous! But the truth is, a lot of the websites with this kind of a review are just put their by the manufacturer themselves or the website designer. So when the product arrives, it is a bitter disappointment to say the least.

So I decided to create this website and review the products I myself have tried and tested, and will give my honest opinion on each product based on my own dealings with the product. Also, I will be compiling a list of companies who sell incontinence pads, nappies / diapers and pull ups so that you will have at least some information at hand and not have to trawl the web for some immediate help

Just for the record, I am Not a doctor, or a medical person, I am just a person who needs to wear incontinence pads due to being double incontinent.

Hi, my name is Mike. I am a 45 year old male living in Ireland and I am incontinent among other things.
I have suffered with poor health for the most part of my life, Sjogren's syndrome, ITP, Diabetes II, Profound neuropathic problems, Alpha 1 antitrypcin deficiency, Liver transplant 2006, Depression and of course double incontinence. So quite a list. To deal with incontinence, I wear adult sized nappies, yes, I 'do' call them that, and I do it with no embarrassment whatsoever. Being honest, incontinence is way down on my list of problems!

I have both bowel and bladder incontinence. I don't hide my condition anymore, it's very hard to successfully 'hide' double incontinence and the fact you're wearing a nappy, so why bother? It is energy consuming, draining, time consuming, and the more time you spend hiding or trying to hide the more people seem to wonder what you're doing!
So, my friends and family know I wear nappies, I feel happier now with the condition and it doesn't affect me as it once did.
Finding the correct product is the key to dealing with incontinence problems, don't be embarrassed by this condition in the slightest because people in Ireland of all ages, sizes, male and female and from all walks of life, suffer with this problem at some stage during their life. It isn't just an 'old persons' problem, seeing doctor could be the start of finding a way to either cure or to manage your incontinence.
